Merito Partners closed 2025 with a profit of €1.34 million, according to the company’s published annual report. The Merito Partners Group’s revenue nearly doubled year-on-year, reaching EUR 2.04 million. During the year, the Group raised EUR 72.8 million in investment capital, while the total assets under management and administration exceeded EUR 150 million at the end of 2025.
The consolidated Merito Partners Group (“Merito”) comprises four subsidiaries: Merito Capital, Merito Private Equity, Merito Management AIFP and Merito Real Estate Management AIFP. Two of these entities are alternative investment fund managers.
In 2025, the Merito Group significantly improved its financial performance, with net revenue increasing from EUR 1.08 million in 2024 to EUR 2.04 million in 2025. This performance was also reflected in the Group’s equity, which reached EUR 1.22 million at year-end. These results were achieved without additional capital contributions, while the Group’s share capital remained unchanged at EUR 1.25 million.
During the reporting year, Merito raised a total of EUR 72.8 million in investment capital, deploying it across a range of long-term investment opportunities. Over the course of the year, 255 investment transactions were recorded across 23 investment instruments. By the end of 2025, assets under management and administration exceeded €150 million.
In real estate, Merito primarily acquires properties with the potential to increase in value through development. Meanwhile, its evergreen investment structures enable long-term investing without the need to sell investments within a predetermined timeframe.
In 2025, Merito established MeDi Group, a healthcare consolidation platform. Other portfolio companies also continued to grow. Following the disconnection from the BRELL electricity grid, the Sustainable Energy fund began supplementing its solar parks with battery energy storage systems (BESS). Meanwhile, BOX STORAGE became the largest self-storage platform in the Baltics, completing its capital raise.
Mikus Janvars, Co-founder and Managing Partner of Merito, commented: “Merito brings together capital from Latvian private investors to jointly pursue projects that would be too large in scale for an individual investor. In doing so, we strengthen the investor community, businesses and the wider economy. Last year, the implementation of Merito’s strategy delivered measurable results: our investor community expanded, and capital raising for investment projects accelerated. The most significant development of the year was the shift in the direction of capital flows. In our third full year of operations, we began returning capital to investors through both dividends and loan recapitalisation. Real estate projects launched in previous years enabled us to distribute invested capital earlier than planned, marking a transition from building our investment portfolio to realising investment returns.”
In 2026, Merito continues to pursue its established strategic direction while expanding its portfolio. This year, the company completed its largest and most complex private equity buyout to date: the acquisition of Livlande Agro, the most efficient pig farming business group in the Baltics.
Merito’s real estate strategy has also reached a new milestone with its first property exit. Investors in the Old Riga real estate project received both their invested capital and the profit generated. In several other real estate funds, investors have also received full repayment of their invested capital.
